Course description and real course description. Fairly flat, a few hills to keep it interesting. Nice countryside views, fairly well supported.

Water/fuel stations. Great, evenly placed, use of bottles instead of cups, very good. Water, isotonic drinks and gels.

Time of year – early October

Why I chose this race – Fantastic organisation, not too big but big enough, great course for a PB opportunity. Chester is a lovely place to visit.

I will be back; I’ve done it twice now and plan to keep it in the calendar!

Tips for next time – leave plenty of time on race day, roads can get congested.
